Jeff's Story

got out of the Army in 1987 and worked as a barback at The Safari Bar in Omaha, Nebraska. I started working in the Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Industry in 1988 after leaving the Army. Over the next five years, I worked for several different Carpet Cleaning Companies paying particular attention to how they conducted business, what they got wrong, what they got VERY wrong (how they treated their employees, customers and if they were honest or not), and what they did right. 
 

As a result, I realized every Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Company I went to work for had some issues with different aspects of their business. Subsequently, I knew what NOT to do. So, when I started this company in 1993, my goal was not only to do it better but be the BEST.

I started the business in my house with a portable machine in the back of my Nissan pickup. The first few years were rough: I moved into an office space and back to the house a few times. But again, it taught me lessons worth their weight in gold about how to conduct business the RIGHT way. If being an Airborne Ranger taught me anything, it's do not quit until you reach your goal.

 

I bought my first used truck-mounted system in 1996. I wore that one out and bought another to replace it in 2010 and then in 2013 I bought a second machine for a second truck.  

 

By 2012 I had established myself as a Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner in the OKC Metro Area known for integrity, honesty, and skill. I bought a half-acre of land with a 2700 sq ft building that has 1,000 sq ft of office space and 1700 sq ft of shop/warehouse. 

 

Owning and running a Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Company is not easy or cheap so you have to be resilient. Most people who start a Carpet Cleaning Company think all they have to do is buy equipment, get a website and the clients will flock to their door. Nope, it is not that easy, and because they think that way most go out of business real quick.

 

You have to WANT to treat people right and follow through on your claims and promises. 

You have to WANT to do a good job- the best job for people.
And you have to have support. In all honesty, without the support of my wife, Julie- I would never have gotten this far. Thank you, Honey.
